A Georgia man who claimed to be a “divine being” and had previously gouged out his own eyes has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering a Good Samaritan who stopped to help him on the interstate.Robert Brandon Keller, 32, was found guilty of murder and several other charges in the October 2024 killing of Bruce William Dupree, 43, in Bulloch County.
He received two consecutive life sentences plus 25 additional years.
How the Crime Unfolded
According to court testimony, Dupree pulled over on I-16 to give Keller a ride while he was hitchhiking. Under the influence of drugs, Keller attacked Dupree, slashing his throat and dragging his body into the grassy median before stealing his car.
