Following 9/11, American authorities established the Transportation Security Administration to help secure American borders. Many observers feel that nothing was done other than putting a band aid on a major wound. The TSA has been consistently accused of being a bloated agency with too big a budget and too little training for front-line workers who would be more qualified to hold a job where they ask, “Do you want fries with that?” Although not an exposé, “Things Your Mom Never Told You About Traveling” raises again points raised previously. They are points that everyone needs to know and be aware.
